SUCCESS IS NOT ENTERING INTO THE FRAY AT ALL

By Gibson Goff

Success is rising above the noise, rising above the pettiness, rising above the fray. Success is
not entering the fray to begin with.

There’s an old saying hill people have had for centuries. It’s a simple truth. You can’t keep
running forward while still looking backward for long before you run into a tree!

Where’s your focus? Where are you headed? Are you reaching for success, in all areas of
your life? Then stop looking backwards and participating in the old habits, the old you. Glean
the best and drop the rest.

When your coworkers start entering into a pity party or complaint session politely bow out.
Have compassion but don’t include yourself or engage in the conversation. Rise above. Focus
on your goals, focus on your success.

Hold that image close to your heart and feel the success bubbling up from inside of you. Now
listen to your heart and your internal compass. Leave the battles behind and practice good,
and faith and love. Practice success, be success.

YOU are success!
